Drink Warm Turmeric Water with Lemon

Many studies have suggested turmeric and turmeric water have broad anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer benefits.


Lemon water, among many other things, detoxifies the body by giving the digestive system a kick in the morning. Adding turmeric to lemon water not only offers a different taste, but it adds a number of other health benefits, too.

1/4 – 1/2 tsp of turmeric

1/2 of a lemon

Warm water

Honey (optional)

Preparation: squeeze 1/2 of a lemon into a mug. Add the turmeric and warm water. Stir well and add honey to taste, (optional).

Keep spoon in the cup as turmeric will fall to the bottom so the drink will need to be mixed again.
