Sama operacija skidanja dioptrije laserom veoma kratko traje, za oba oka, ukupno 15 minuta, a sve vreme ste svesni, iako nista ne osecate na ocima, nikakvu bol, niti peckanje. Doktor I sestra su sjajni I sve vreme ti objasnjavaju sta rade, kako bi nam stvorili pravu sliku sta se desava. Jako profesionalni, odgovorni I posveceni pacijentu. Sjajno iskustvi I divan da opet vidim kao pre – normalno, bez naocara. Topla preporuka svima koji se dvoume I premisljaju da li ima smisla raditi ovakvu vrstu intervencije. Takodje, znacajno je da dodam: MEDICAL SERVICE PLUS – NAJBOLJI NA SVETU!

Ćao, ja sam Danijela i već 14 meseci sam na hrono ishrani. Danas svi znaju za nju, ali kada sam ja čula prvi put bilo je to pre 5-6 godina preko drugarice koja mi je poslala Pravilnik od oko 60ak strana na email. U tom trenutku, nije bila toliko popularna. Pročitala sam i sve mi se dopalo, sva pravila. Prošlo je više godina i ja sam, posle raznih izgovora, napokon krenula da je primenjujem. Izgovori su bili: „nemam sada vremena za to…skupo je…ma, daj, ko će da se opterećuje hranom, u smislu čta-kad-i kako kombinovati. Neverovatno kako sve „legne na svoje“, i ništa nije teško, kad se hoće. Jedino ja u kući primenjujem hrono, a opet nisam ceo dan u kuhinji, nisam opterećena, uvek se uklopimo, nešto dodam ostalima i „to je to“jednostavno, ustvari! Mada, moram da priznam da nije bilo tako na samom početku. Sada, posle toliko vremena, mislim da mi je to jedna od boljih životnih odluka  Verujem da mnogi misle da ova vrsta ihrane nije zdrava zbog veće količine mesa, ali ja smatram da je vrlo diskutabilno šta je zdravo, a šta ne. Po meni, najvažnije je slušati svoj organizam i prepoznati šta nam prija, a šta ne. Naidju dani kada mi se ne jede meso, ali ima načina da se ono zameni. Iskreno, najviše što mi se dopalo u ovoj ishrani je to što nema ograničenja! Dakle, mogu da jedem koliko želim! „Jedem, dakle postojim“  Nemam problem što se ugljeni hidrati jedu za doručak. Mnogim ljudima to smeta, i nakon što skinu višak kilograma, odustanu od hrono ishrane. Kad se na primer, jedu mahunarke za ručak, onda može da se bira – hleb ili meso. Obično se tada odlučim za parče hleba i kašiku pavlake npr. Kad sam krenula sa ovom ishranom, cilj mi nije bila kilaža (iako sam imala 20 kg viška, koje sam uspela da skinem), nego da mi ona postane deo svakodnevnog života. Zato što sam ceo život muku mučila sa kilogramima, i sve se vrtelo u krug. Hrono ishrana je trajno rešenje, u kojem se malo toga odričete. I da se 95% vremena tako hranim, meni je dovoljno! Volim hrono! Taj način ishrane meni prija i osećam se fantastično!

Danas je normalna pojava da gledamo u kompjuter, mobilni..veći deo dana. Prisutne su i video igrice, filmovi, drugi digitalni uredjaji koji kod višećasovne upotrebe dovode do oštećenja oka, ili umora, suvoće. Kod nekih su, pak prisutne glavobolje i mučnine, pogotovu kod gledanja 3D ekrana.

Šta se dešava sa okom:

  • Uobičajeno, ljudsko oko trepne 18 puta u minuti, ali istraživanja pokazuju da gledanjem u ekran ili drugi digitalni uredjaj treptanje se smanjuje upola.
  • Dugotrajno čitanje i pisanje ima iste efekte.

Šta činiti:

  • Sedenje na oko 50cm od kompjutera, da bi pogled išao na dole,
  • Smanjite svetlost ekrana u podešavanjima, koristite filter za ekran ako je potrebno,
  • Stavite podsetnik na ekran sa natpisom “trepni”,
  • Svakih 20 minuta otvorite širom oči i gledajte u predmet koji je najmanje 5m udaljen od vas, na najmanje 20 sekundi. Ustvari, to je pravilo 20-20-20,
  • Koristite veštačke suze ako osetite suvoću u očima,
  • Pravite pauze od kompjutera i pokušajte da noću imate dovoljno sna.

Protect your vision on time

Computer-use eyestrain

Staring at your computer screen, smart phone, video game or other digital devices for long periods won’t cause permanent eye damage, but your eyes may feel dry and tired. Some people also experience headaches or motion sickness when viewing 3-D, which may indicate that the viewer has a problem with focusing or depth perception.

What are causes?

  • Normally, humans blink about 18 times a minute, but studies show we blink half that often while using computers and other digital screen devices, whether for work or play.
  • Extended reading, writing or other intensive “near work” can also cause eyestrain.

 

What to do:

  • Sit about 25 inches from the computer screen and position the screen so your eye gaze is slightly downward.
  • Reduce glare from the screen by lighting the area properly; use a screen filter if needed.
  • Post a note that says “Blink!” on the computer as a reminder.
  • Every 20 minutes, shift your eyes to look at an object at least 20 feet away, for at least 20 seconds: the “20-20-20” rule.
  • Use artificial tears to refresh your eyes when they feel dry.
  • Take regular breaks from computer work, and try to get enough sleep at night.

Computer-use eyestrain can be made worse by:

Sleep deprivation. When you get less sleep than you need, your eyes may become irritated.

During sleep our eyes rest for an extended period and are replenished by nutrients. Ongoing eye irritation can lead to swelling and infection, especially if you wear contact lenses.

  • If you have to be at your computer for a marathon work session, take regular rest breaks or “power naps,” if possible.
  • Apply a washcloth soaked in warm water to tired, dry eyes (with eyes closed).
  • Use tired or sore eyes as a signal that it’s time to stop working and get some rest or sleep.

abstract-19141_1920Incorrect contact lens use. If you wear contact lenses, it’s important that you use and care for them properly — especially if you use a computer and other digital-screen devices often. This helps avoid eye irritation, swelling, infection and vision problems.

  • Give your eyes a break: wear your glasses!
  • Don’t sleep in your contact lenses, even if they are labeled “extended wear.”
  • Always use good cleaning practices.

There are some important things to keep in mind when cleaning your contact lenses. You should:

  • Avoid touching the lenses with water; use fresh solution every time for cleaning and storing.
  • Rub your contacts when you clean them, even if you use a no-rub solution.
  • Clean your storage case regularly (with fresh solution, not water) and replace it every 2 to 3 months.
  • Stop wearing your contact lenses and see an ophthalmologist (Eye M.D.) right away if you develop any of these problems: Eyes that are red, blurry, watery, sensitive to light, or sore; eye swelling or discharge.

Belgrade Stories…

 

KalemegdanTura-BeogradWhether you are coming to Belgrade for the first or the umpteenth time, your attention will certainly attract Kalemegdan – fortress which proudly rises above the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers.

 

The story of Mehmet Pasha’s Fountain

At Kalemegdan, hidden a bit from the main pedestrian routes, in the shade of plane trees, the fountain of Mehmet Pasha Sokolović is located. It was built in the second half of the sixteenth century as a memorial to a very important event from this period.

 

Namely, Sultan Suleiman in 1566 led the great battle to conquer the current Hungarian fortress named Siget. The first sultan’s vizier was then Mehmet Pasha Sokolović.

 

The Turkish army was more numerous, but the battle protracted and soldiers` military morale was declining. Unfortunately, Sultan Suleiman dies of natural death in his tent. Mehmet Pashal continued to give all commands, and, in order to avoid spreading the news of the death of the sultan that would endanger the outcome of the battle, Pasha decided to make up the dead sultan and drove him through the Turkish camp every day. The battle ended with the victory of the Turks and the vizier sent a horseman to Istanbul to call the Sultan Selim`s son to come to Belgrade, to Kalemegdan to meet there.

 

At the place where the fountain is today, Selim learned that his father was dead and that he becomes Sultan instead of the Sultan.

 

An important event during that time, of course, but more important is that the faithful servant Mehmet Pasha – from the moment of death of the Sultan Selim to the surrendering of authorities – made decisions independently and always faithfully to Turkish empire. He had no dilemma whether to serve the dead sultan as best as he can or not. All this is interesting knowing that the vizier was originally Serb, who was taken as a Janissary to Turkey to serve there.

 

The fountain was erected by faithful vizier to enhance passengers and curiously surprise them with an interesting story.

Therefore, without a doubt, visit this fountain at Kalemegdan: you might find that a tree that loomed over it can discover some more unusual secret stories!
