FACE LIFTING (Rhytidectomy)
DESCRIPTION
Surgical procedure for facial and neck skin rejuvenation.
DURATION
2-4 hours, the duration of procedure depends on the type of surgery as there is also a mini lifting-S-lifting, lifting of the temporal or neck area.
ANESTESIA
General or more commonly local anesthesia with heavy IV sedation.
RECOVERY
Removal of a bandage and a drain 1-2 days later, after which the patient may wash their hair while the stitches are removed between day 7 and 10.

RISKS
Swelling and hematoma which disappear in around a week, transient feeling of numbness in facial skin, injury of the facial nerve branch, the appearance of hypertrophic scarring behind the ear and on the neck, moved hairline or even transient, and rarely permanent alopecia (hair loss around the cut in the hairy part of the head).
NOSE SURGERY (Corrective rhinoplasty)
DESCRIPTION
Changes in the nose shape and size (prominent nose bridge-hump, long or wide nose, bulbous or asymmetric tip, upturned tip, saddle nose) and the correction of breathing disorders, or a deviated septum..
DURATION
45 min to 2 hours.
ANESTHESIA
General anesthesia or local anesthesia with IV sedation.
RECOVERY
Until the removal of mask and tampons the patient breathes through their mouth, while the swelling largely goes down. Rare complications.

Swelling around the eyes and the surrounding tissue.
EYE-LID SURGERY (Blepharoplasty)
DESCRIPTION
Removal of excess loose skin and fat tissue of the upper and lower eye-lids, or the correction of eye-bags. The correction of upper and lower lids may be performed together or as separate procedures.
DURATION
The operation takes 30 minutes for upper lids and 45 for lower lids.
ANESTHESIA
Local anesthesia.
RECOVERY
24 hours after surgery it is necessary to place cold coverings on the eye lids. The stitches are removed in 6-7 days.

RISKS
Swelling of lids and hematoma lasting for 5-7 days. Inability of full eye closure and excessive eye tearing are temporary occurrences.
PROMINENT EARS (Otapostasis)
DESCRIPTION
Reduction of the angle between the ear lobe and the head and the correction of ear lobe shape.
DURATION
Around one hour (for a bilateral procedure).
ANESTHESIA
Local, although with young children not mentally prepared for the procedure, it may be performed under total anesthesia.
RECOVERY
Bandage is removed after seven days and the stitches after 2 weeks.
